Story: Bella Thorne plays a social media freak who goes on a crime spree with man-candy Jake Manley. All the while posting their robberies on the web while gaining both fans and the police attention.

Look, I'm not the biggest Bella Thorne fan. She's a terrible actress. But the trailer for this actually looked like fun and the film truly has a lot of heart. There's a lot of style, a cool soundtrack to keep things moving and some chemistry between the leads. Unfortunately the story is never very interesting and after the first hour I was eagerly waiting the end. Never a good sign for any movie.
Normally I find Bella irritating but here that worked in her favor because her character is super trashy. Man candy Jake Manley who I've never really seen before plays a cooler, likable, maybe even grounded character. He made "Infamous" bearable. Much to my surprise, Marisa Coughlan ("Gossip", "Teaching Mrs. Tingle") a face that used to pop-up a lot during the 90's early 00's gives a rather short (almost a cameo) performance that sticks out. Why was she so underused?

There's never any stakes as you pretty much know where this story is going from the get-go. A shoot out that occurs inside a gas station ended up being the only part showing some real intensity. There's so many directions the story could've gone but I guess in the end this makes for an easy watch when you just want some background noise. At least this isn't "Avatar" where you have to endure almost 3 hours of torture.
