The trailer for another direct-to-video sequel to one of my favorite shark movies ever made is here: DEEP BLUE SEA 3.
Now for those of you who didn't know, yes, they made a sequel a couple of years ago that in no way holds a candle to the original. No effort whatsoever was made to actually made that abomination bearable, but here we are, a part 3 nobody asked for.
This one does look somewhat better. The effects look improved, the setting looks exotic, and they at least hired a familiar face: Tania Raymonde (Texas Chainsaw 3D).
The story is as follows:
"Dr. Emma Collins and her team are spending their third summer on the island of Little Happy studying the effect of climate change on the great white sharks who come to the nearby nursery every year to give birth. Along with the last two inhabitants of this former fishing village, their peaceful life is disrupted when a "scientific" team led by her ex-boyfriend and marine biologist Richard show up looking for three bull sharks who we soon learn aren't just any bull sharks." (Thanks IMDB)
Coming out on digital July 18th, 2020 and on August 25, 2020 Bluray & Dvd.
