Lena Headey of "Game Of Thrones" fame was set to star in a film adaptation of a short-story from "Books Of Blood" by Clive Barker called "Jacqueline Ess". Clive Barker is the horror creep behind stories like "Hellraiser" & "The Midnight Meant Train". Unfortunately for us, that production has been long time dead.
The story is about a woman develops an ability to transform flesh at will.
Jovanka Vuckovic (Riot Girls) was meant to direct at some point and there was even a short film made meant as a test pitch that looks really good in my opinion. Manages to capture that violent and highly sexual vibe Clive Barker stories have.
Apparently the rights are free again but the project remains to be seen. Hopefully someone will pick this up eventually.
